Kacey Sloan's Review of Recover Tactical P-IX AR Platform Conversion Kit
The IX AR Platform kit is a good product at a fair price. I enclosed my Glock .45 in the kit and was able to zero my red dot sight at 20 yards with only four shots. Accuracy is good with 1 1/2 inch groups. It is now my number one home self defense weapon. The only thing I don’t like about the kit is the fact that the pistol must be removed (and zeroed again) to close the chamber after the last round in the clip is fired.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- The pistol must be removed to close the chamber after the last round in the clip is fired.
- The pistol must be removed from the kit to close the chamber after the last round in the clip is fired. The one time I did this and placed the pistol back into the kit I had to re-zero the red dog sight.
