Recover has false claims and excuses - Recover Tactical Canik S-PRO Mg Full Kit

After a few months looking at this product, I was excited to order it. According to Recover Tactical's website: "S-Pro is compatible with the entire TP series and the Metes except the compacts and steel frames. It also fits the TTI Combat". When it arrived, I assembled it per the instructions, and then attempted to install my TP9SFX with threaded barrel. Could not get the adapter to close. Okay, tried my TP9SFL, same result. The TP9SF Elite fit perfectly, but is a 4.2" barrel with a 15rd grip, vs the 5.5 threaded barrel on the SFX/SFL, and 18rd grip...not what I ordered it for. Okay, tried the Mete SFT, same results. E-mailed Recover, was told that the "current production" modules fit all the above, but not their first gen, and apparently I got a first gen. Instead of offering to send me the correct module, they wanted to charge an additional $65 (plus shipping). There is no annotation on their website about a "Gen 2" or "This only applies to current production", under "select model" it just says "Canik". Even according to Optic's Planet's website, it will fit "TP9" so all my TP9's should be compatible. Regardless, lesson learned, but I can't recommend this model. However, since the company is built around Glocks, if you were to order for a Glock, I'm sure you'd be fine.
