I shouldn't have to modify something in order to make it work but the front mag holder was extremely tight to slide onto the bottom picatinny rail, after shaving it down it works well. I was also able to add a notch to the brace slide in order to lock it shorter for my kids to use it, something they could easily do when they make it since I'm sure not everyone wants the brace to be full length.
