Micah's Review of Red Rock Outdoor Gear Laser-Cut Plate Carrier
This plate carrier has "adjustable" shoulder straps, but even though I'm 6"2", I can't get it short enough to protect my vitals. The top of the plate barely covers my heart. I'm certain the point of a plate carrier is not to protect only your gut. I didn't want to have to spend $200-500 for a plate carrier, but it looks like you get what you pay for.
Pros:
- Waist gets small enough even for guys like me with surfer bodies
Cons:
- Hangs waaaaay too low to protect your vitals
Best Used for:
- Magazine and molle pouch carrier, just dont add plates.
