Excellent fit - Redfield Mounts 1 inch Rotary Dovetail Steel Rings

I have a Redfield 2 piece mount I will use these in and they fit well. I also have a Leopold mount of same design. A superficial check of the parts indicate they should fit the Leopold too. I would say the dovetails that the base and front ring use to connect are tight. Care must be used in installing them on the base or you will twist the rings and scope alignment will be off. The best would be a precisely machined steel bar the size of the scope barrel with the ring tightened down on it, second would be a dowel of hard wood with ring tightened down. As they say DO NOT USE the scope to put on or take off. These rings are not quick release, just set up to ease installation in a two piece mounting base.
