Most Helpful Positive Review Remington 783 magazine
Optics Planet sent the real deal magazines not some knock off brand. Magazines were a little delayed due to the plandemic but arrived in time for outing at the range. Magazines fit well in my new Boyd’s stock.

783 magazine

by Chaar444, from NC, United States Written on August 11, 2020
The magazine arrived in a timely manner, fit the rifle perfectly and does what it is supposed to do. All things considered, the optimal outcome for an order. This is the second order I have done through Optics Planet, and they have been great both times. I will continue using them for sure.

Remington 783 Long Action 4 round Mag

by Kevin, from MI, United States Written on June 16, 2020
Is a factory original mag for my .30-06 sniper rifle and a great fit. Totally meets my expectations for a backup magazine. 100% authentic as is needed for the caliber needed for what's chambered in my rifle.
Pros:
  • Original fit and function.
Cons:
  • none at all.
Best Used for:
  • Remington 783 long action sniper rifle

Remington Model 783 magazine

by NK, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 16, 2020
These are good magazines. My Model 783 is in 308, holds four round in the mag. In my rifle, my two SA mags work well. The mag is a good balance of steel and polymer. Mag tube is steel as is the latch spring. Actual mag latch is polymer. The follower and base are polymer. All polymer parts feel solid. I prefer this type of mag over some other rifle mags made mostly of polymer.
Pros:
  • Solid well built
  • metal mag tube!
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Remington model 783, SA

Excellent magazine

by Randy99, Verified Owner from NM, United States Written on October 31, 2018
I prefer rifles with removable magazines and like to carry a second mag for my guns that use them. When hunting it's good to have a spare just in case something happens. I also often carry different ammo in the 2 mags for different conditions.
I bought the Rem 783 Walnut in 6.5 Creedmoor. These are strong mostly steel magazines that work perfectly, and they are much cheaper than some of the import brands that charge $50 or more for plastic mags.
Pros:
  • steel and very strong
Cons:
  • None

  • Original Equipment
