Nice mount - Remington Scope Mounts For 870/1100/1187 19440

I bought this to mount a red dot sight on my 870 Express combo. It was easy to install and it is very solid.

The first thing that I noticed was that I could still sight down over the top of this mount and use my iron sights on the deer barrel. I can't see the white triangle at the bottom of the rear sight, but I can still see the notch and the front sight. I have not shot it with iron sights since installing the mount, but it seems like it should work just fine if I needed to.

The second, but more important thing, is that this mount is very solid. When I took my gun out, mounted my new red dot sight on it, got it sighted in and shot about 40 shells, it was rock solid.
Pros: easy to install, solid, can still use iron sights
