Mark Jackson's Review of Remington UMC .223 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket Brass Centerfire Rifle Ammunition
I don't know what you do with this ammo other than plink or hunt varmint/small game. I wouldn't use it for larger game, range shooting or personal defense. What you see is what you get with this ammo; nothing special.
But when I can get 63 grain FMJBT cheaper than this (Federal here on the Planet) I'd rather do that. Remington his always been to me, sort of no thrills ammo, but it puts of middle of the field performance, and great reliability for a decent price.
My use for it: I let the kids run this when our families go out to shoot. It's not the ammo's fault. Just a little pricey for what you get, and I prefer 62-64 grain.
