Have it installed in a 7.62x39 ar15 I build and no issue with light primer strikes or anything at all even with Russian steel ammo(known for insane primers) I have an enhanced firing pin and all primer strikes are deep and functional. The price of $100 is great. I bought mine directly from the manufacturer when they were having a sale but these are now $140. Buy you won’t regret
