Light strike - RISE Armament Rave 140 AR Drop-In Trigger

The Rise Armament RAVE 140 was at great price (I did not buy from Planet Optics). It was simple to install and seemed to function properly. However, at my range I had several failure to fire, 25% did not fire. I was using NATO ammunition that had worked flawlessly before the trigger change. In examination of the misfired round there was just barely a firing pin imprint. I tried the rounds several times and they did not fire. I sent the trigger assembly back and it was replaced. The replacement did the same thing. So I took a Dremel tool to it and trimmed some of the trigger stem to insure that it was not striking the lower receiver. I had some improvement, but still not perfect. It is down to about 10% misfire rate, which is still not acceptable. It seems to work well, no misfires, with commercial ammunition. I will probably replace the trigger group soon. I do not think that I will go back to the factory trigger group. The pull (3.5#) is something that is hard to walk away from. The pull and reset are flawless, I do not think that I can go back to the 7.5# pull. I may change the RAVE 140 over to another receiver and see if I have the same problem. As it stand I would not purchase another or recommend this trigger to a friend.
