Great lpvo value quotient - Riton RT-S Mod 7 1-5x24mm Rifle Scope

I was looking to upgrade a 1-4x LPVO on my 16" AR, and having had a great experience with Riton in the past (red dot + magnifier) I went with this one. It was obvious from the get-go this was a definitely an upgrade over what I had been using before (and I loved the unit that it replaced).

I wanted something that expanded the field of view without having to move away from the LPVO platform, something that went beyond 4x, and still maintained an illuminated reticle. The field of view on this optic is amazing, and the clarity is terrific. Admittedly, as I age my eyesight isn't what it used to be, but this unit really compensates for my less than perfect vision. This is a SFP unit, which is typical of LPVOs in this magnification range. I will say I would have loved to have seen an integrated throw lever, but this is easily remedied by adding one (Riton offers one, or Switchview is an option...there are many out there). What really made me feel good about my decision was just how easy it is to look through, and how much reticle you get for the money. LPVOs are popular as they bridge the gap between red dots and full magnification optics, and this unit from Riton is a real winner in that respect. Zoomed out, the reticle shrinks enough to be used as a dot, and zoomed in you obviously get the full benefit of the reticle.

This is a great time for us shooters to be in the market for optics as there are a lot of great choices out there. I have become a big Riton fan because of their bang for the buck, their warranty (lifetime with 48 hour replacement guarantee), and the quality of the products they deliver. Do not be scared off by the seemingly low price; these guys know what they're doing.
