I bought this scope for my new ruger .308 and am nothing but pleased with its performance. I am very comfortable out to 300 yards with this scope on my gun. I am not a scope expert but I like everything the scope has to offer. The image is super clear and so is the reticle. My old scope I am used to got fuzzy on me when I went up in magnification but this one seems to be crystal clear from 4 all the way to 16. I am happy I gave these guys a shot.
