Replacing the stock all black front sight on my Ruger GP100 with this red one greatly improved sight visibility when shooting at black paper targets. The plastic molded insert was a little sloppy (only reason for the 4 star review) but a bit of work with a razor and it cleaned up nicely. This is an inexpensive and easy upgrade to any Ruger. I paired this with a beautiful set of custom Hogue hardwood grips from OP and this GP100 looks more like a RedHawk.
