Pretty decent but could be improved - Ruger American Rifle .223/204 Ruger/.300 BLK 5-Round Magazine

I have several Ruger American rifles and they all use similarly built magazines. This one is for the .223 Rem and 300 Blackout which holds 5 rounds. All plastic construction except for the springs and follower. The main reason these mags do not get the highest marks is the plastic lock tab tends to break over time. This needs to be looked at by Ruger and changed. Otherwise, overall it is a good magazine for a great rifle.
