Most Helpful Negative Review The Set Drew Exploded
One of the two set screws in the bottom of the gas block cracked when I first shot the new upper. After taking the little metal slivers out of my hand, I brought it to a machinist who tried to use an easy out to remove the set screw. No dice. Had to drill out and retap the gas block. No way that tha...

Works great, I can't say anything negative about it, especially because it barely costs more than a regular gas block.

sadlak adjustable gas block

Fits like a glove and works really well. Have other parts for my M1A from Sadlak that perform flawlessly. So not surprised with this purchase. Will probably be getting a couple more for my other AR’s.

They are great for the price. The screws are a little light duty and will strip in not careful.

I wish no star was a option!

The screw gets locked up after every shot making it impossible to adjust/tune. Well built just not worth the headache!

Solid Budget Adjustable Block With a Few Quirks

by Danimal, Verified Owner from SC, United States Written on March 18, 2026
For the price point, you really can’t get a better adjustable gas block. The machining is clean, it fits under most handguards without a fight, and the adjustment screw gives you enough control to tune a wide range of loads. Once set, it stays put and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

That said, it’s still a restrictive‑style block, so it doesn’t run as cool or as clean as the higher‑end bleed‑off designs. The adjustment screw can carbon‑up if you don’t stay on top of maintenance, and the overall sealing isn’t on the same level as Seekins or Superlative.

But for a budget‑friendly adjustable option that actually works and doesn’t feel cheap, Sadlak delivers. It’s a great value piece of kit as long as you understand its limitations.
