Troubles installing - SADLAK M1A Scope Mount

I had troubles with the hex nut stripping out. Not the threads on the rifle receiver, the threads on the hex bolt itself just would not catch.
I ordered another hex nut from Sadlak ( like $20!) and ultimately bought the steel Springfield Armory Mount that worked fine after a few adjustments. I would have liked it to work for me, now it sits in a drawer.
