John Morgan's Review of SADLAK M1A Scope Mount
As I get older, I'm finding that optics are becoming more and more helpful. I am no gunsmith, but I was able to drop this on my M1a and lay down some improved groups. My only suggestion is that if you add a scope to an M1a/M14 your going to want some sort of cheek riser to go with it. The scope is dead center over the bore, and I can still see the iron sites with it on.
Pros:
- Rigid scope mount.
- Allows you to use the iron sites.
- Scope is centered over the rifle.
Cons:
- No cheek weld with the standard stock.
Best Used for:
- Old eyes like mine.
