Great design, not so great materials - Safariland 123 Concealment Magazine Holder, Horizontal - Plain Black, Ambidextrous 123-18-2

The synthetic leather material this is made from is textured (unlike the photo here) and thicker than I expected (closer to a belt than a glove). The design is terrific: and it held my 7-5ound, single-stack 9mm magazine perfectly, but it seems to have plenty of adjustability for other sizes and calibers. But for a concealment mag pouch, it should be made of more-flexible material. As is, it sticks out at the two ends and prints more than necessary, and it doesn't conform much to the curve of your waist. Also, with the thicker material and multiple overlapping flaps of the design, it sticks out in the middle more than I would like, too. As a result, this seems less-concealable than a simple clip-on pouch, or than a nylon pouch with a velcro flap. If you don't mind the slightly greater bulk of this pouch, it certainly has a versatile and effective design.
Pros: Versatile, very easy to put on and off
Cons: Material is stiff and bulkier than need-be
