Nice holster but retention loop is too wide - Safariland 6287 Concealment SLS Belt Holster - STX Tactical Black, Right Hand 6287-82-131

It's difficult to find good holsters for a 30+ year old HK P7. This one is a modern design, top quality, and offers a retention system. Unfortunately to me, the retention loop is very wide. The extra width of the hood and its hinge makes the gun and holster rather difficult to conceal. It looks like a growth that bulges from the hip. Other retention designs seem better to me, but I've been unable to find one for an old HK P7. I'll keep this holster, but won't be carrying the P7, at least not concealed, in it. I'll also keep looking for other holsters.

Pros: High quality, fits gun beautifully
Cons: Retention loop is too wide
