Safer than Black Hawk holster because the retention system. It doesnt putt your finger closes to the trigger.
On a 1911 you dont even have to think about taken the safety off.
I have used this style of holster for more than two years. I have more than one. I cant say a enough about it.
I use it for every day carry and IDPA. Very comfortable
