Great duty holster
Great duty holster. Als is very fast and secure. I've been using safariland duty holsters for the last 15 years. I also use and ALS holster for 3 gun competition. They provide very secure automatic retention by simply placing the gun in the holster. Recently transitioned from a level 3 with SLS and ALS to the level 2 with only the ALS and ALS guard. I like the level 2 version much better. It is still an extremely secure holster but much easier to draw with a solid grip on the pistol. The SLS was much more prone to catching if not hit just right.

question about his holster
my 6390 light bearing holster does not have a smooth release. can anyone tell me why? i've already loosened the tightness and still it's not releasing smoothly while i draw my firearm. it's a comfortable holster, but i'm just wondering why mine isn't drawing well. not like the videos safariland posted on youtube.

Great holster
Great holster. About as Smooth and fast as you’re going to get from a rentention holster. Highly recommend this holster for any looking to have a holster with a locking system. The ALS is quick and easy and puts your hand in a natural position to grip the firearm and activate the ALS button with your thumb.

Excellent Holster
Excellent holster that is rugged and functional. I like that it accommodates multiple lights while remaining snug fit on the light you use. I use the Streamlight TLR1. This holster takes a lot of abuse and keeps working. One note, it is not a high retention holster (level 3) so if that is important to you, look elsewhere.

Holsterreview
This was exactly what I was looking and works perfect. I ordered it for my husband and he loved it. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn't be the right one or that it wouldn't fit but it worked out great. I received it pretty quickly which was a lot better than having to wait like 6 weeks for it. Not that I was in a time crunch, but it's always better to have it than not have it.

Safariland 6390 Als Mide-ride, Level I Retention olster
This holster is excellent - perfect position on the belt, easy and fast release on the draw, and the retention is excellent. Adjustments for the amount of retention are simple and you can customize to your liking. Well made and overall a great holster....highly recommend.
