The Safariland 77 mag pouch has been around forever. It is pretty much the standard nation wide. It retains your magazines when your running or in a full on ground fight with a suspect.
This is a duty mag pouch. I wouldn't recommend it for competition or concealed carry. You want the 074 for IDPA or the 773 for USPSA.
The STX Black finish seems to go with both my Nylok and Plain Black leather duty belts. The 77-83-13PBL has the exposed black snaps. This is leather, and doesn't go with the actual nylon web belt.
Pros: Good retention, all black, black snaps.
Cons: None...
