Deputy sheriff/firearms instructor - Safariland Model 2955 Low-Ride Level-II Duty Glock Holster

After 6 years with my first agency of haveing this as my issued holster. When I went to an agency that required me to purchase all of my own leather gear & weapon. I still choose this holster based on ease of use and an acceptable level II security to promote officer safety. As with any weapons carry system there are ways a suspect could remove the weapon from the holster, but if the officer practices good officer safety and weapon retention practices this is not an issue.
Pros: Offers level two retention, & still allows smooth fast draw
Cons: Weak point the holster is prone to some weapon take away tactics
