This is simple self locking system. The operator can simply place his weapon back in the holster and it is locked into place. Much better built than other comparable systems. Sand grit and dirt have failed to foul the system. Seems to be the best system available from all the major companies.
Pros: quick and secure
Cons: Light compatible models tend to stick a little

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
