Great holster, the wait time could be improved - Safariland Model 6354rdso Als Holster W/ Qls19 Fork For Staccato C 5'' W/ Light

The safariland ALS line is the benchmark of retention holsters. The cordura skin is fantastic at reducing shine and some noise, but any color other than multicam seems to be a myth. The interior is also fabric lined which helps a lot with rattle. The 6354 fits my full sized 1911 perfectly, though I had to trim the muzzle plug to accommodate a threaded barrel (which does not protrude from the bottom of the holster). Overall this is a very well thought out design, and there is no wonder that it has become THE standard for duty holsters.

Unfortunately the 6354 seems to be a special order item, maybe there's a very high demand, or maybe safariland isn't giving enough love to the 1911/2011 enjoyers, but expect custom holster wait times for a mass produced product. That being said, it's totally worth it, but don't order expecting the bezos machine turn around time. Enjoy some some pre-2010 retro nostalgia as you wait excitedly for your new kit. For bonus points order over dial up. ;-)
