Beans's Review of Safariland Model 6378 ALS Paddle/Belt Loop Glock Holster

I run a standard G19-3 in an SLS only holster at the range. I shoot on out of the way BLM land mostly by myself. I wanted a like set up both to train on the ALS system and keep a dedicated pistol loaded- securely on my person. I picked up the Demo holster at $50 with an added $20 for a QLS 19 fork as it goes between 2-3 varying rigs. My camping chest pack has a QLS receiver plate as well.
This holster filled all the boxes I wanted checked. The ALS keeps the pistol safely and securely when jogging downrange. The size only fits G26’s -27’s and doesn’t get in the way on my left side (cross-draw). I carry the G26 at the 4 O’Clock on my AR15 training kit to keep it out of the dirt so, I’ve no real world tests with grit in the ALS action. The draw gets easier with every session without sacrificing my safety or security of the firearm (3-4 O’Clock and cross-draw). I’m late to the modern holsters game and all of this has been stated previously on the web somewhere. After testing for myself, I trust the setup and highly recommend the Safariland ALS rigs. I’ll eventually pick up the ALS only RDS holster for my G17 as my confidence grows with training (Cordura when I can spare the green).
