Great holster! - Safariland Model 6385 ALS/OMW Tactical Holster

I have been looking for a tactical leg holster for hunting for about a year. I wasn't comfortable with the Blackhawk holster I had purchased for another handgun. I did a lot of research for options and read several excellent reviews from people about the Safariland holsters. I decided to take the financial challenged and purchased this holster. The fit for my SIG 229 was perfect. After a little practice, I could easily draw and get into a firing position in a couple of seconds without have to think about the release. The silicon on the leg straps is an excellent thought and really helps keep the pistol in the proper position. Have gone hunting and fishing with the pistol and holster and have been very pleased with the performance.
