Great duty holster - Safariland 6390RDS ALS Mid-Ride Level I Retention Glock Duty Holster

Love this holster... I'm an armed security officer at a private university with 27yrs military service, not a police officer, don't want folks to think I'm something I haven't earned... Anyway, I love this holster. It doesn't dig into my hip joint on foot patrol or while climbing lots of stairs during dorm checks. The holster rides almost straight up and down instead of the normal issued holster being canted forward, can't stand that! Also, the holster positions better in my patrol vehicle making life a little more comfortable on vehicle patrol. The retention is good, and I like having the little optic cover to help keep dirt, dust, and the occasional cheato off my optic:) I've found it draws very smoothly with no hang ups or sticky spots like my issued holster did. Overall, it functions perfectly, looks good, and is duable. For me, it was a great purchase and is a valued piece of my kit...
