Most Helpful Negative Review WARNING, will scratch slide finish!
Glock 17 , gen 5 , less than 2 weeks old, and this holster put 3 deep scratches in the slide after about 30 draws. These are not marks that wipe Off, but scratches in finish. I purchased this holster to compliment my new Streamlight TLR-7X on my Glock 19. After years with my old light and holster it was time to upgrade. The holster is much smaller, sturdy, and functional.

I like the included paddle and belt loop for the variety of carry options. But my primary use case is for the outdoor range. I attached a QLS and a mid ride UBL. This package results in a lower ride due to the mounting holes, but it works for my body type. There’s a lot of value in this holster system.

You can't go wrong with Safariland products. Fit and finish are absolute the best. The options are endless. You do have to shop for the best deal as they can be pricey at times.

Paddle holster

At first I was a little concerned with the holster being way to tight but with a little help from some silicon sprays and some practice draws the holster started to break in a bit. Still needs a little more work to get it under a two second draw time but other than that I am very happy with my decision to go with this holster

Made for larger gun lights

I have a Glock 19 and a Streamlight TLR-7 light. I ordered this holster because it would fit that gun and light. It does fit, however the holster is large enough to accommodate larger (longer) gun lights so the holster is quite large. Too large. There are several extra inches between the end of the gun and the end of the holster. I got the G19 and TLR-7 specifically because it was smaller and more concealable than my G17 and TLR-1. The correct Safariland model for my needs turned out to be a 7378-28327-411, which fits like a glove.

  • Well built, good retention, the ALS is easy to figure out

  • Designed to accept larger gun lights

You’re an American start acting like it!

I use these on duty and off, all of my guns have fit perfectly and can’t beat the quick draw of the als. With that and all the add on’s this holster will work for anything you can think of and do it flawlessly. I highly recommend! You can’t go wrong especially with the price point.
