Nice basic holster if you like it at 3 o'clock - Safariland Paddle Holster for Pistols - STX Tactical Black, Right 5188-53-131

Works well if it is what you already want. Tension adjustment is nice but the curve on the paddle prevents it from being positioned anywhere too far from 3 o'clock. I also found the extended slide release on my 1911 made it a little harder to get into the holster. A few days of training just wore a little groove into the plastic though, so it isn't a problem anymore.
Pros: Simple and durable with tension adjustable
Cons: no cant adjustment, steeply curved
