To The Right's Review of Sako TRG 22/42 Muzzle Thread Protector
I actually bought this thread protector to use on my CVA Scout V2 45-70 rifle. This particular CVA 45-70 is factory equipped with a threaded muzzle brake. The thread is 18mm X 1mm which fits the CVA barrel perfectly. My CVA 45-70 has been converted into a 45 caliber muzzleloader. I now have the option to shoot sabot loads without the brake and sabot-less loads with the brake.
