Great sound, good value! - Sangean AM/FM HD Wooden Cabinet Radio

Received the radio faster than anticipated. OpticsPlanet had the best price. The sound is impressive for the unit's size and the sound quality is very good despite only having one speaker. The sound fills up my office when I want to jam or sing along. The unit does not have Bluetooth, but I resolved that by using a $20 Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter 2 in 1 purchased elsewhere. The same Bluetooth device can be used to transmit the audio to an external speaker which I haven't tried yet. I did stream music from my phone to the unit and it works very well. The back of the unit has audio in and out 3.5mm plugs. The HD Radio works great. The OTA sound quality is very good and so is the external antennae that came with it. The unit is easy to use and comes with a remote that is easy to navigate. I plan to use this unit in my bigger boat's salon so I really wanted the HD Radio feature. Right now, this is the closest one will find to an HD Radio shelf unit. I wanted to rate it a 4.5 out of 5 since the only thing it's missing is Bluetooth, a nice to have feature.
