Since I'm not planning to use my brace as a hammer, I'm fine with plastic. I hated the OEM Sig Virtus pistol brace because it was too bulky when folded. While I liked the Sig Collapsible/Telescoping Brace better, I didn't like how short it was fully extended. This brace, FS1913, is 1.5"longer than ...

What a disappointment flimsy plastic Not metal and for 200.00. Just think airsoft but weaker shame shame shame
Looks great but that is about it. Folding mechanism is rather flimsy compared to the SIG
Looks like a cheap airsoft stock or a toy from Wal Mart, not the quality I am use to from SB...

Looked really good in box, added it to my pistol and torque down to spec just for the bolt head to shear off. Terrible metal quality. Spend the money on a better brand.
Pros:
Looks
Cons:
Cheap material

I researched and research and finally deliberated to choose SB Tactical. Package arrived quickly, & undamaged. I was very excited and installed the brace without issue. Followed instructions and unlocked the brace to put into folded position went to put it back into locked out position but it was locked into folded position. Scoured the manual and the SB website for a resource to resolve the issue and found nothing. Looked on YouTube and found 1 video from a customer demonstrating how to unlock it to bring it from folded to straight position. I then successfully brought it back to straight position, but with great difficulty. I am 6’3 230 lbs tradesman and have strong hands yet this process is extremely difficult and decided to work the action of the tension spring repeatedly to attempt to loosen and free it up some as many reviews mention it will loosen up with use. It seized up and would no longer unlock. So I searched on the internet further and found some recommendations to use a non marring hammer to loosen it. Thankfully I have an armorers hammer and was successful again at loosening it. Began again working the action repeatedly and folding from straight and back to folding. It has seized several times and had to use my hammer to unlock it again and continue to work the spring repeatedly more. It consistently locks in folded position which is not ideal for a self defense weapon. I am still working on working through the action attempt to hopefully debur what is causing ...

The SB Tactical FS1913 Pistol Stabilizing Brace is perfect for Kriss Vector Gen 3. Like all SB Tactical products this brace is well manufactured and engineered to fit 1913 specs. Easy installation but you much choke up on the hinge for easy folding and unfolding. Highly recommend.
Pros:
Quality , price , multi use options , tunability
Cons:
None
