The product quality is very good and looks great on the firearm. The retract feature functions well and moves smoothly and locks solid when in the locking detents. The attachment to the firearm is good, however it does not use the same style of Sig mounting system on the rear picatinny rail. The Sig brace and retractable stock uses a single bolt / squeeze clamp to firmly secure the stock to the rear rail. With SB Tactical, you slide the brace over the rail and a through bolt goes between the rail gaps to prevent the brace from sliding off. At this point the brace is not firmly secure and will move slightly from side to side. To firm up the mount, two set screws (one on each side) are used to stop all movement by pushing against the rail. After all the bolts are tight the brace is firmly secure. One other thing to note is the slide release button on the brace sticks up higher than the button on the Sig retractable stock. Because of this the bottom of the charging handle will hit and rub on the release button when all the way back. However this rubbing is only a nuisance and hasn’t caused any charging issues so far. Over-all, I’m pleased with the brace and would purchase it again.
