I bought this for my BCM AR Pistol. I had been thinking about going the SBR route, but decided, "Why wait?" (for the blessing of the ATF). I chose the BCM pistol due to the build quality and having a 10.75" bbl. in 5.56mm. The addition of the SBPDW brace, Troy BUIS, Trijicon T-2 and a SF Scout Light gives me a "pistol" with all the capabilities of an SBR and none of the hassel about where I could take it, since it is a "pistol" and I am retired LE. The SBPDW's weight helps to balance out an AR pistol so equipped/accessorized (especially if you mount a suppressor). That, along with the ability to adjust the SBPDW stabilizer's length of pull to accommodate "unusual shooting positions", and SB Tactical's solid build quality, makes it a stand-out AR pistol accessory.
