The straighter design of the forearm fins makes it much easer to store in a traditional rifle case than the older flared style braces and the SOB gives a little bit more length without having to leave the brace a bit from fully seated which is a questionable policy on usage. Lighter than expected but heavier than the Shockwave it replaced.
