I pay high dollar for excellent rifles with expensive barrels. Your accuracy is no better than your crown. This scope Coat boot protects your crown in and out of the safe and guncase, where so often we bang the barrels. I just wish I had bought them before this. They are inexpensive insurance! I purchased OD green just to remind me to remove for use.
Pros: bore and crown protection
Cons: I did not buy these sooner
