It's a gas tube, nothing terribly exciting. The fit and finish are excellent. I really think the melonite coating will aid in cleaning. Seekins makes very nice products. With rifle length double check to make sure you don't need a straight tube. If you're running a low profile block this tube should be ok, but some adjustable blocks are taller and may not need the contour in the tube to fit. 5 starts for fit and finish...excellent stuff.
