Drivers gradient lenses work fine - Serengeti Brando Single Vision Prescription Sunglasses, Satin Black Frame-7886SV

The Brando frame looks sharp. I ordered nonpolarized, drivers gradient lenses so I could see my dashboard displays while driving. I got them in glass to get that last bit of detail possible from the expensive glasses. I found that the gradient feature works fine. As for the brownish tint, it takes some getting used to after using grey lenses, but seems OK. In bright sun, the dark tint is effective; partly cloudy or bright overcast, its colorizing effect is noticeable. As per focus, the single vision prescription was filled properly, and I found that the dashboard instruments were acceptably legible. As for the adaptive darkening feature, I found its operation quite subtle. That's a good thing.

Glass lenses exact a weight penalty to be sure. To me, the cost is worth it: very sharp images.
