These are very comfortable, high quality sunglasses. After much research, I purchased the 555nm non-polarized lenses for use in the cockpit. These are lightweight despite the glass lenses. They stay put. I would find them perfect without the bar across the top - as a woman I find this look a little geeky, but I had to go with quality over fashion. For others who are wondering, the 555nm green lenses block out more visible light than the tan lenses.
