I was interested in this Shooters Ridge Zero Kick Shooting Rest because I didn't want to have to weigh down a shooting rest with sand bags or bags of lead shot. However, this rest has a number of design flaws. First, the elevation adjustment, unlike the windage adjustment, is very imprecise. Second, the strap on the rear of the rest does not securely hold the butt of the rifle to the rear of the rest. As a result, a lot of kick back is likely when using this rest. The third flaw is that the rest has 4 support legs, one at each corner. Other rests, like the Shooters Ridge Deluxe Rifle Rest, have three legs that allow the rests to fit better on the "T" shaped shooting benches at my shooting range.
Pros: Windage adjustments are easy and precise
Cons: Elevation adjustments are imprecise
