Nice safe but has it's flaws - ShotLock Handgun Solo-Vault Gun Safe

I purchased this safe as another pistol quick access safe. I get the mechanical version as I did not want to worry about electronics failing if I ever need to be in a hurry. The mechanical lock it great. I did not experience the issues others have had with the key override being loose. The key override is also not a feature I wanted, but it is easily disabled. My biggest complaint about this safe is that the hinge is exposes and not hidden within the safe. Given the safe it not an extremely heavy steel in the first place so it is not a huge deal, however I would have preferred it to have been hidden. This mechanical lock also requires a bit more work to change to combination that others, I am not saying that is good or bad as there are pros and cons to this. Overall I am very happy with this safe and I would purchase it again as well as recommend to others.
