Nice compact pistol safe but lacking foam inside - ShotLock Handgun Solo-Vault Gun Safe

When I received the safe, it was a bit smaller and lighter than I expected. Not as heavy duty as I thought it would be. It will hold most pistols without difficulty but if you want to store more than one, it would be tight and probably no room for extra magazines. The manual lock system works well and was easy to reprogram from factory default settings. The safe is made in China though seems to be well manufactured except for the Shotlock sticker that isn't affixed to the safe (it should be) at the factory. It was worthless and didn't stick to the safe, so I tossed it. No biggie. Like the carry handle. This safe would work well to transport your handgun or as a car safe. One major thing I don't like about this safe... there is no foam padding inside to keep my gun from sliding all over the place. BIG miss. I don't want my gun getting bounced around and scratched. I am looking for a foam padding solution to make my gun more secure in the safe. Didn't see this as even on option on the SafeLock web sight. Highly suggest they consider a solution here. The safe itself is decent. Just needs some finishing touches.
