Reputation -
Shotstop has a strong public appearance. Presence on social media, etc. These plates are praised by plenty of people that have served. You can’t get much more reliable and reputable than this.

Profile -
Lightweight: Most Level 3 plates are 3.5 pounds.
Thin: Most plates are at least 1.0” thick.
Curvature: More aggressive compared to some other multicurve plates I’ve seen and it makes a huge difference.

Polyurethane coating - Seals out the elements. I like this much more than cordura/nylon wrapped plates, since they soak up sweat and water.

Cons:

Cost - Poke around and be patient, you can get a set of these for 900-950 with a discount code.

Shipping - Wrapped in bubble wrap, only gripe is that these were loosely packed in the box they came in so they were able to slide around in there during transit.
