Reticle problem in manufacturing, reticle image does not match ad/website/box/instructions - Sig Sauer 6-24x52mm TANGO SPR Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane

The reticle that arrived in this scope (Tango SPR 6-24x52)does NOT match the stock photo on the box, in the instructions, photo on the Sig website and here in this product description. The lower 2 BDC hash marks are way too low and the thicker part of the verticle duplex overlaps the lower 2 BDC hash marks making them unusable. I sent it back to Sig and they returned the unrepaired scope to the wrong address, causing me to drive 90 minutes through traffic to retrieve it. Sig would not admit that there was a problem, they insisted that the published image was not correct and that the scope was fine. I am a mechanical engineer with 40 years experience and I have bought and installed about 100 scopes. I have seen broken wire reticles and rotated reticles, but this is the first etched reticle problem in manufacturing that I have encountered. Sig's customer service was terrible, they were unwilling to admit any fault and would not recognize the problem. I will not be buying any more Sig products. I recommend V-rt-x as they have the best customer service in the optics industry. If Sig had recognized the problem, even if they could not repair it, then I would not be so disappointed with my interaction with them.
