Dim light or does not turn on - SIG SAUER Foxtrot1x Weapon Mounted Light

I'm a fan of Sig Sauer but this light left me disappointed. It initially turned on when I put in the battery but then did not work after I installed it. The buttons on the sides that are used to operate the light did not seem to work. I had to turn the cap where you place the battery and where the lantern is located. When it did work, the light was very dim. I had to return the item and will be purchasing a different light.
