The Sig Sauer taper lock system is great. It allows you to use one suppressor on different calibers of rifles. I purchased the can that fit on my 30 caliber rifles but also wanted to use it on my 5.56 rifles. This adapter works great for that purpose as a quick release system and allows you to use one suppressor on different calibers. Optics Planet had a good price on this and the item shipped on time. I have used Optics Planet before and have had good experience with them.
