Defective red dot? - SIG SAUER ROMEO-MSR Gen 2 1x20mm Reflex Red Dot Sight and JULIET5 Micro 5x24mm Magnifier Combo Kit

I may have gotten a defective red dot device. “Astigmatism” this, “astigmatism!” that, “it’s your eyes” - no bro. Friend of mine has a trijicon dot. It’s perfectly round and crisp, no blur, no “star”, no b.s… The sig dot looks more like a blurry crescent moon like a piece of dust landed on the emitter during manufacturing. Only 1 brightness setting is somewhat bearable (2nd highest) but the artifact remains nonetheless. On the other hand, it could just be the quality of dots at this price point. The magnifier is great in this kit - I can’t say the same for the dot. At any rate, I’ll probably return or exchange.
