Was looking forward to add this optic on a 45 degree mount. It arrived in record time. Unfortunately, after installing the battery, the hold down screw would not tighten. Optics Planet allowed me to return it. I replaced it with a Holosun optic.

Pros
Big window!
..but low profile!
Right-sized red dot for pistol use.
Light weight, metal frame + plastic housing.
Sensor for auto on/off works fine.
Battery easy to replace on side.

Customer service support was acceptable.

Cons
Dot was shutting off after each recoil on 9mm pistol.
Battery door was coming loose under regular usage.

Misc
Contacted customer service who had me send the sight in for service/inspection. Unfortunately, they returned it no-problem-found with no explaination of why the sight was shutting off after each recoil of 9mm pistol. Through my own experimentation, I discoverd the battery door screw was coming loose during usage! Aagh! Not good... Instructions call for a torque setting on the battery door screw, instead of just finger tightening it down like you would any other red dot optic. Used my Wheeler torque driver to set the screw and will update this if it comes loose again.

Pretty disappointing experience thus far with the Romeo-RS Pro. Made it to page 11 of the operator's manual where you are guided to install the battery and required to torque the security screw to 4 in-lbs to secure the battery tray cover. Unfortunately, after 4 in-lbs the battery tray cover is loose and rattling.

Sig Sauer customer service accepting a return/exchange so hopefully they make it right.
