I bought this for my M18, mainly due to not needing a mounting plate. I am quite pleased with the product. It offers a wide window yet small profile. It's definitely easy to carry and not worry about printing.

Side note: when inserting the battery, press it in before installing the cap. It will "snap" in place and make it really easy to screw the cap on.
